Olympians of Royal Blood

A number of Olympians were to the manor born, a number were born and lived in poverty, and a very few were born of royal blood.  With our recent post concerning King Juan Carlos I of Spain, an Olympian in , now seems a good time to look at Olympians who had royal blood.       Zara Anne Elizabeth Phillips MBE (born 15 May 1981) is a British equestrian and the second-eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Zara Phillips is the second child and only daughter from the marriage of Anne, Princess Royal, and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. She holds no royal title or style and is currently 16th in line to succeed her grandmother.
