All-Time Olympic Medal Lists

Ole Einar Bjørndalen (NOR) has now won 12 medals in biathlon and is going for 13 today in the men’s 20 km. He is tied with his countryman Bjørn Dæhlie for the most medals won at the Winter Olympics with 12, and is trying to break that record.   1. Bjorndalen has now contested this event (Men’s 20 km Biathlon) in six straight Winter Olympic Games. His 34th place today means he did not Cycle in the event or achieve a Silver Medal 3-Peat, but it was still an improvement by two spots from his 36th place the first time he contested the event in 1994 at the Lillehammer Winter Olympics.
